Fish Spike - Straight

This sharp pointed splike is used for a variety of tasks in the Japanese kitchen. It can be used for Ike Jime 活け締め, a very quick and humane way to kill a live fish. Or to pin a slippery fish like an eel or flathead for ease of filleting.

Made from extremely hard high carbon steel. Please wash and dry after use and coat with a little Camellia oil for extended storage.
