Tasting of Kyoto Green Tea and Sweets
With a fresh shipment of green tea just arrived from Uji, Kyoto there is no better time to try green tea from the pinnacle growing area in all Japan.
We will show you correct water temperature and brewing techniques for a variety of green teas from Japan. Also learn the mysteries behind whisking a perfect cup of Matcha reminiscent of the tea ceremony.
On hand will be a selection of Wagashi - Japanese sweets - for tasting.
