Green tea
Green Tea source
The flavour of green tea is dependant on many factors including good provenance, growing and harvesting methods, parts of the tea plant used and age of the tea. The best green tea is said to come from Yame - Fukuoka and Kyoto. Shizuoka is where most of the mass produced green teas are grown and harvested. Chef's Armoury have carefully sourced their range of premium green teas direct from the tea farms of Kyoto, Japan. The tea is air shipped in small quantities to maximise freshness.
