"Nishiki" hunting knife by Kanetsune

The handle of the Nishiki is wrapped in nishijin brocade and wrapped in thick cord for a secure and confortable grip. This knife is the same as Nishiki but features an intriguing lacquered saya.
The knife is 240mm overall with a 120mm blade. The blade is made of ultra high carbon 15 layer damascus blue steel. Blue steel has been used for creating Japanese hunting knives since ancient times and has exceptional edge retention.

Beautiful damascus pattern on the blade and very individual patterns on the saya.
