Gyuto / Chefs Knife
Gyuto literally translates as the very romantic name of "cow sword" / "beef sword", primarily used for cutting meat both raw and cooked.
The Gyuto is the Japanese take on the design of the classic French style chef knife. In comparison to the Western chef knife, a Japanese chef knife has a thinner sharper blade which is able to make much more accurate cuts.
