Mcusta Quince handle series With a combination of precious quince wood handles and damascus blades, MCUSTA have created a range of knives using precision workmanship with an artisan feel. Each knife is unique because of the random damascus patterns and the natural quincewood handles.
The MCUSTA Blade MCUSTA have perfected an offset bevel that is almost flat on one side and gently graduated on the other. The MCUSTA bevel is super sharp and cuts straighter with less effort. The VG10 core is supported with 32 layers of nickel Damascus giving linear strength. The blade is also made from a single piece of steel from tip to end with no joins or welds undergoing a special tempering technique that not only ensures hardness but also core strength.
Contoured handle design A very important feature of MCUSTA knives is the ergonomic handle design designed with the user in mind. The handle is comfortable to hold using the three main grip styles and due to the contoured finger grooves is secure at all times, even when wet.
Due to the nature of this natural wood handle we recommend it not be used in commercial kitchens or put in the dishwasher!
