Traditional black forged Nakiri made from Yasuki white 2 carbon steel. The top of the knife is left black for extra stain resistance and non stick properties. This knife has a double bevel and can be used by left or right handers for vegetable prep, garnishes and other light cutting duties. A perfect example of Kurouchi Nakiri made by one of Sakai’s top blacksmiths and hand finished by master sharpener Mr Kenji Togashi. Finished with magnolia handle and buffalo horn bolster. Please note buffalo horn can vary in colour from light cream to shades closer to black.
