240 Sujihiki By Kurosaki

An elegant sujihiki knife with an extra pointy snout for stylish slicing of your favourite produce.

Senko Knives

Kurosaki san was 100% in naming this range Senko - meaning Flash. First thing mum would say if she saw these would be "Gee these are pretty flash".

Apart from the blingy appearance these knives are thin and razor sharp. Slightly hollow 50/50 bevel cuts like a hot knife though butter yet the ebony handle with double brass bolsters give a solid and commanding feel. Not a workhorse but perfect for those who want to make considered precise accurate cuts. The brass end caps have an antique feel that will further enhance with age.

Kurosaki Knives

Previously in the employ of Master Blacksmith Kato of Masakage fame, Kurosaki san has been making knives for the last 13 years and last year made the move to become independent. Describing himself as “not a natural blacksmith” he has worked hard at perfecting his art under the hand of his master for 12 years.

Kurosaki-san is committed to creating practical knives that are also a thing of beauty.

Chef's Armoury are the official importer of Kurosaki kitchen knives in Australia.
