AUSTRALIA - For standard in stock items, your order will be shipped Tuesday to Friday (we are closed Sunday - Monday). Depending on your location you may receive the package within 2-10 working days after the shipping date by Australia Post eParcel. For urgent deliveries Contact Us. Additional fees will apply for express deliveries.
BESPOKE ORDERS - Estimated turnaround time: 2-5 days before despatch. Depending on your location you may receive the package within 2-10 working days after the shipping date by Australia Post eParcel.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - For standard in stock items, your order will be shipped Tuesday to Friday by international courier DHL. Delivery will be approximately 2 - 5 working days from the shipping date depending on your destination. Due to local Quarantine and Customs conditions delivery may take longer than the estimated time.
We will make every effort to ensure that your order is delivered within the estimated delivery time however due to circumstances outside of our control your order may be delayed. Chef’s Armoury cannot guarantee delivery time frames.
Chef's Armoury orders are shipped from Australia. Delivery fee depends on weight and destination.
AUSTRALIA - As a guide 1 - 2 knives starts from $11; and 3 - 6 knives starts from $13 depending on your location. Shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - As a guide 1 to 2 knives starts from AUD35 and 3-6 knives starts from AUD45. Shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.
International orders may be subject to local duties and taxes depending on value of items and destination country. Gifts may or may not be subject to local duties and taxes. These fees are to be paid by the customer/recipient in the destination country.
Acceptance of Delivery
All orders must be signed for. Please note that anyone who signs for the goods at your nominated delivery address will be assumed to be authorised by you to do so. This includes but is not limited to staff, colleagues, relatives and friends.
If you choose the "Safe Drop" option from Australia Post (which allows Australia Post to drop the parcel without a signature at your delivery address), Chef's Armoury DOES NOT guarantee safe arrival of your package. In the case your package becomes missing and you have chosen "Safe Drop", Chef's Armoury will not be liable to replace your package.
Chef's Armoury offers a limited customer satisfaction guarantee for knives. If you are not completely satisfied, returns will be accepted for exchange if:
- The item is 100% unused, unmarked
- Still in brand new condition in it’s original packaging
- The packaging must also be in brand new resaleable condition or a fee will be deducted
- You must contact Chef's Armoury within 14 days of delivery or the guarantee will be deemed invalid.
- Returns must be received by Chef's Armoury within 30 days from the date the order was made for an exchange
- We do not offer refunds for change of mind however you are free to exchange your item.
- You must send back a copy of the original receipt with the returned item(s).
- No returns accepted on sales items.

Bespoke knives are carefully assembled by our resident knifemaker. Estimated shipping date is 1 week from payment date however during busy times your order may be delayed due to a backlog of orders.

OVERSEAS - Your order will be shipped by international courier. Depending on your location you may receive the item within 2-20 working days. For urgent deliveries Contact Us.
Order Changes - If you change your mind about the type of blade or handle you would like to order and the knife has already been made, you will be charged the additional cost of a second handle. This is because the handle must be destroyed in order to remove it from the blade.
Delivery Risk and Insurance
In the rare occasion that your parcel has been lost in the postal system Chef’s Armoury will take responsibility and organise a full refund or another item to be delivered.
However, if the article has been signed for at the destination country OR if you have chosen the "Safe Drop" option from Australia Post, Chef's Armoury cannot take responsibility. (The "Safe Drop" option allows Australia Post to drop the parcel without a signature at your delivery address.) In the case your package becomes missing and you have chosen "Safe Drop", Chef's Armoury will not be liable to replace your package. Hence, if you are presented with the Safe Drop option we highly recommend that you do not choose it.
Uniqueness of Product
Many of our products are handmade one by one from natural materials. They will therefore vary in colour, texture, weight and other dimensions. We have endeavoured to give a good photographic representation of our products, however computer screen resolution and colours do vary so products will not look exactly as they are seen on screen.
If you have given us an incomplete or incorrect address you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus a AU$11 postal return fee. If the package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect name and the package is returned to Chef's Armoury by the shipper, you will be charged a re-delivery charge plus a AU$11 postal return fee.
Special Order Knives
Some knives can only be bought by special purchase order as often they are made to order. The expected delivery date on Special Order knives is dependent on the maker and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Special order knives require payment in advance.
