This authentic outdoor Japanese portable barbeque is made from a very special insulated material that reflects heat back onto the cooking surface. The walls are over 4cm thick and keeps the outside of the bbq far cooler than a tin, stainless steel or cast iron version. A fantastic yakitori grill, or for grilling skewered and unskewered vegetables, meat, seafood and fish.

For an amazing charcoal experience we highly recommend using Binchotan. Known as "the king of charcoals" - Binchotan burns with a steady even heat and the alkalised ashes are said to neutralise protein acids and other undesirable acidic products during cooking. Due to the intense infra red radiation produced by binchotan charcoal, foods are also quickly sealed. The flavour when cooking on authentic Japanese Binchotan is unparalleled, and as local demand in Japan far exceeds supply we are very fortunate to be able to offer this to our customers in Australia.

This konro is an excellent choice for grilling wagyu, yakitori, seafood and vegetables for parties of 4-6 people. Disposable grill net included.

Please note: This barbeque is for outdoor use only. Or inside restaurant kitchen under appropriate strong extraction. Gaps in the bricks will appear and will expand and contract with use.

• Extra grill nets - As grill nets are disposable it is a good idea to buy a couple of spares on purchase. You may also wish to use different grill nets for seafood or vegetables.
