Kaiden Nagura 3000 grit

A nagura can used for a number of reasons. Before using harder compound stones rub the nagura over the surface of the host stone, it will speed up the sharpening process by activating the grit and binder in the host stone. Also some stones tend to glaze over very easily. In this case just rub the nagura over the surface to remove the embedded steel particles and to reveal a clean fresh layer of sharpening grit.

This is a SOFT style nagura and is recommended for use on stones in the 3000 to 5000 grit range. Using a soft nagura with greatly help when sharpening single bevelled blades.

Pre soak the nagura for about 10 minutes before use.
