Aero Flattening Stone from Kaiden
Keeping your stones flat is an essential part of the sharpening process, however can take a long time if you don't have the right tools.
The Kaiden Aero flattening stone is filled with micro bubbles that clear the swarf while efficiently grinding back the surface of the stone.. It cuts down a wobbly stone in a businesslike and efficient manner and is even better than the previous Kaiden flattening stone..
It is best to flatten your stones a little and often. We recommend to flatten your stones after sharpening 6 to 8 knives.
If flattening stones 3000 grit and above, we highly recommend using a synthetic nagura to smooth off the surface of the stone after using the Kaiden flattening stone.

Care Instructions
Do not drop as the stone will crack.
Do not leave under water for long periods of time as the stone will deteriorate and break apart.
Soak just prior to use until the stone is waterlogged and the bubbles stop rising.
Rinse and leave to dry after use.
Do not store unless fully dry.
