Piquant Wakayama ume fruit is balanced with the natural sweetness of the mirin with no added sugar. A delicious summer drink served over crushed ice or super chilled.
Hakusen Shuzo Fukuraijun is the mirin used by Michelin 3 star restaurants such as Kitcho in Kyoto. It is also enjoyed in Japan as a delicious drink served over crushed ice. Ume mirin can make an interesting addition to savoury and sweet dishes alike.
No additives or chemical seasonings. Just rice shochu (also made in house from local rice), rice koji, Ume and glutinous rice.
