A solid chestnut wood knife stand to showcase your favourite 5 knives.

The Chef’s Armoury knife stand is made from sustainably harvested Australian hardwoods and is 100% Australian made. The heavy base supports two floating arms that are embedded with hidden rare earth magnets. Stainless pins have been placed on the both sides to support heavier blades in your collection. The entire stand is finished in a food safe wax and can be re-oiled with any good chopping board oil to maintain appearances.

Due to the magnets, we don’t recommend storing kataba (chisel edge) style knives such as yanagiba, deba or usuba on this stand. For this style of blade we recommend using traditional soft wood saya or our traditional beechwood knife rack.

Use and Care Instructions for Magnetised Knife Stand

• Hold the front left hand corner of the base when removing or placing knives on the stand for extra stability.
• To remove a knife, twist the blade to the spine first before removing the blade, for safety purposes.
• When placing a knife on the stand, place spine first and then twist upwards towards the stand.
• If the stand isn’t sitting evenly, loosen the two screws with the hex key provided and adjust.
• Do not place near the edge of a bench. Best used against a wall for safety.
