Profile

Kuro Kuma Kagami 210mm Gyuto

This gyuto strikes the perfect balance between versatility and control, making it one of the most practical knife sizes for the modern kitchen. A true all-rounder, it’s equally at home slicing, rocking and chopping, ready to tackle just about any task you throw its way.

Kagami Knife Series

The Kagami series by Kuro Kuma combines an impressive mirror finish with exceptional performance.

Each knife is hammer forged from premium SPG2 powdered steel and clad in layers of nickel Damascus, creating a blade that looks every bit as serious as it performs. While the blades are forged slightly thicker than some Japanese knives, the carefully considered geometry and exceptional mirror finish allow them to glide effortlessly through food.

Built for demanding kitchens, the Kagami combines the precision you expect from a high-performance Japanese knife with the reassuring strength of a genuine workhorse. Nothing is there simply for show. From the true hamaguri grind, delivering that distinctive Nenox-like feel, to the traditional Japanese handle, every detail has been considered for both performance and comfort.

Please note: The gidgee wood handles vary from lighter browns to rich chocolate tones.  No two handles are the same. The one you receive will not match the photo, but will have all the beauty of this outstanding natural wood sourced in outback Australia.

Also note: This blade is an extreme mirror finish that reflects everything in its path. We have used a black reflector to highlight the contrasting layers. No part of this blade is actually black.
