Kuro Kuma Sumi 210mm Gyuto

The 210mm gyuto is probably one of the most useful sizes of knives to use in the modern kitchen.

Chef's Armoury have combined forged Japanese blades with unique Australian hardwoods to create the Kura Kuma brand. The philosophy is simple - stylishly forged blades sharpened by the finest ryoba specialist in Sakai.

Sumi Knife Series

The flowing lines of the very skillfully forged damascus follow gentle strokes of a Japanese charcoal brush to create a range of knives bearing the Sumi name.

Beyond the poetry is a serious blade made from AUS10 steel that has been sharpened to an edge that cuts like a serious blade should. Handles are Australian made blackwood with caramel mallee burl from out in the mulga.

A low maintenance stainless steel blade, easy to resharpen and good edge retention.

  • Beautiful hammer forged damascus steel
  • 50/50 edge grind make these knives suitable for left and right handed users
